What are the benefits that are included in my membership? Do they differ based on membership level?

Standard Membership Benefits:

  • Voluntary supplemental insurance offered through Adventure Advocates

  • TU decal and sticker These benefits are standard for all active members of TU.

Additional benefits are given at higher contribution levels. Our Family/Contributor, Sponsor, Conservator, and Stewardship levels offer variations in benefits throughout the year. TU will promote different offers online and through the mail for these membership levels. Depending upon your contribution, gifts can include one or all of the following: TU hat, fishing gear, special decals/patches, and/or fishing books.


Outfitter, Guide&Business (OGB), new members receive a businesses a packet containing:

  • 2 special OGB decals
  • 2 speacial OGB stickers
  • 2 TU decals
  • 2 TU stickers
  • 5 trial membership cards to offer to clients and friends
  • Trout of the World book by James Prosekand
  • Advertising discounts in Trout magazine
  • A listing online for your business
  • 4 issues of Trout magazine to help promote your business to our more than 150,000 readers of Trout
  • TU's OGB banner for publishing on your company's website.

100% to TU You always have the option to request that 100% of your donation go towards TU. This will prevent any gift from being mailed to you and allow you to claim 100% of your donation for tax purposes. Your standard membership benefits will still apply.
