Trout Unlimited is the nation's oldest and largest coldwater fisheries conservation organization.*

TU accomplishes its work on local, state and national levels with an extensive and dedicated volunteer network. TU’s national and regional offices employ professionals who testify before Congress, publish a quarterly magazine, intervene in federal legal proceedings and work with the organization’s 150,000 volunteers in 450 chapters nationwide to keep them active and involved in conservation issues.

*Trout Unlimited has been in existence for half a century. In July 2009, TU celebrates its 50th anniversary.
